| FARM MANAGER: TSAU! WHITE LION REINTRODUCTION PROJECT The Global White Lion Protection Trust (WLT) is a non-profit conservation organization. Our primary objective is the reintroduction of White Lions back to the wild in their endemic area - the Greater Timbavati region. The founder pride of white lions has already been successfully rewilded, and integrated with wild tawny lions. The WLT operates within a modern conservation paradigm: conservation through sustainable development, with particular emphasis on community participation, education and cultural upliftment. A holistic approach is taken: conservation of predator, prey, and habitat – with the collaboration and involvement of the local communities of the region. The WLT is presently expanding the scope of its reintroduction project and is calling for RESUMES / CV's for the following key position: FARM MANAGER: Candidate Suitability: • SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS ONLY • Minimum 5 years farm management experience • Mechanical experience & general maintenance capability • Experience with wildlife management is ideal and definitely an advantage • Weapons (firearm) trained • Fluency in English and Afrikaans (conversational) essential • Coversational Zulu, Shangaan or Sesotho would be ideal • Valid driver’s license and competent driving ability is a requirement Key Responsibilities: • Farm & Habitat Management • Anti-poaching & Security • Wildlife Management • Lion Monitoring • Mentoring the Field Assistant • Supervising wildlife volunteers when participating in field activities Salary: Salary commences at R8 000 per month (negotiable depending on qualifications & experience). Accommodation: Farm Manager’s House – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, patio, garden (protected by an electric fence) Employment Period: Minimum 1-year employment period, with a 3-month probation period.
