Welcome to Tanzania Bird Atlas - The website for mapping distribution and seasonality of birds in Tanzania. The project is headed by Neil & Liz Baker. As the subtitle suggests the project is not just about mapping the distribution of birds in Tanzania. By collecting data on a monthly basis and concentrating on evidence of breeding we hope to understand much more about the seasonality of our birdlife.

You can add data to the project either by submitting recent sightings, triplists, images and other relevant information directly to us, or preferably by joining the TZ-Atlas and submit all your birding data from Tanzania directly into the web site.
