The South African Marine Predator Lab is a multidisciplinary institute, dedicated to exploring, discovering, understanding and conserving Africa’s marine predators. SAMPLA was initiated by four marine scientists who recognise the imminent threats that many of the world’s marine ecosystems face and felt compelled to act.
Our Mission:
To produce world class research discoveries that will inspire passion and create awareness on the need to understand and conserve the marine predators and ecosystems of the world.
