The primary focus of the Plettenberg Bay Community Environmental Forum ("EF") is the protection of the total environment (social, economic and natural) and promotion of sustainable development. This includes promoting the integration of conservation principles into planning processes for development; promoting desirable development in keeping with intrinsic environmental features and ecological processes in our area; and supporting a set of principles against which developments can be assessed, which principles will promote sound town and environmental planning, long term sustainable economic empowerment and development, protection of the environment and uniting of all communities.
