Nature Today is a Ghanaian non-governmental, voluntary, non-profit making organization implementing conservation initiatives to promote public awareness in the management, utilization and development of the environment and natural resources through research and education in Ghana, West African sub-region and
ultimately the world.

The organization's mission is to provide quality education and research in the critical areas of nvironment, natural resources and agriculture in such a manner that would improve the environment and public health.

The organization aims to achieve this through:

• Public awareness and conservation education programmes;
• Seeking solutions for, and promote open, informed debate about
  society's environmental choices;
• Initiating and supporting projects which address specific environmental
  problems;
• Encouraging research and environmental protection.
