Since 1987, Afrique Nature International (Africa Nature International) contributes to the protection and sustainable use of the flora, fauna and natural environment of Africa.

The objectives of the organisation are:
* To reinforce the network of national parks and nature reserves
* To protect species of special interest and their habitats
* To manage natural resources in a sustainable way
* To develop a broader vision of conservation at a regional level
