The Metafro Prelude Medicinal Plants Database concerns the use of plants in different traditional veterinarian and human medicines in sub- Saharan Africa.

The PRELUDE database relates the use of about 1.900 plants in traditional veterinaty and human medicine in more than 13.000 recipes from Sub-Saharan Africa. Transfered from the Catholic University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve) to the RMCA, it is now available at the Royal Museum for Central Africa. The search engine is available in English and French.
