African Wildlife Conservation Fund
The African Wildlife Conservation Fund was established in 2007 to continue and support work that Drs. Stephanie Romañach and Peter Lindsey have conducted since 1997 in South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

We pride ourselves on being a small, grass-roots, hands-on organization. All staff are actively and intimately involved with the projects the fund supports. In addition to Drs. Romañach and Lindsey, our staff includes African and visiting International students, and local trackers. We work closely with local stakeholders to find solutions to individual conservation problems. In addition to our own work, we support the efforts of local groups engaged in conservation activities.

The fund supports a variety of projects that have scientific, conservation, and economic development components.

Our Mission:
To promote and support conservation and community development through the provision of targeted technical, educational and financial support.
