Monde Animal En Passion (MAEP) was founded in February 2000 and declared on March 08 2000 in the prefecture of Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire under the file number 0319. It is an apolitical and non confessional caritative association with a non for profit goal.

 According to its statutes, the vocation of MAEP is to fight against the unnessary suffering impose on animals and the culturally correct and admitted indifference about animal suffering in Côte d’Ivoire and in the World.

In other words MAEP develops the opinion and more particularly the young people feelings of kindness and charity regarding the animals by the means of petitions, publications of articles in the media, the realization of booklet, folders, ...,
- ensures the protection and the wellbeing of the animals given up, lost or maltreated no matter if they are wild or pet via a shelter in theory.
- Collaborates with the authorities in charge of the management of the animals and also with the animals welfare charities sharing the same ideals; and finally encourages
- any initiative, public or private, in conformity with the definition of the animals protection.

Indeed for MAEP, since animals share with human being a certain degree of conscience, they are undoubtedly also capable of experiencing the suffering; consequently MAEP strongly support the idea that animals should not be treated like vulgar things. And is ready with the help of its mobilizing symbol : The fishing Eagler a strong and easily recognizable worldwide symbol to contribute to move back away the sufferings of the animal world !
