The Riverine Rabbit Conservation Project consists of a wide variety of roleplayers all dedicated to conservation of the critically endangered Riverine Rabbit (Bunolagus monticularis), as well as its habitat and the ecosystem upon which it is dependent.

The main roleplayers in the conservation project include the Endangered Wildlife Trust Riverine Rabbit Working Group, Western Cape and Northern Cape nature conservation departments (Cape Nature and Northern Cape Department of Nature and Environmental Conservation), Conservancy members, South African National Parks, Departments of Agriculture as well as Academic Institutions (University of Pretoria and University of Stellenbosch).
