Sea turtle conservation is still in the early stages in SW Cameroon. This project supports basic data collection and identification of local threats to sea turtles along the coast of the South West Province. Beach surveys and monitoring, community education and development, including development of ecotourism, are some of the initiatives currently pursued.
Through a travelling education programme, using the power of games, drama, film and school based action projects, EcoKids aims to reach and inspire many Tanzanian children and enhance their understanding of how they are personally linked to the natural environment. 
Deforestation of tropical rainforests has a global impact through species extinction, climate change, the loss of important ecosystems and unique resources. However, the destruction of rainforest can be slowed down, stopped, and even reversed when local inhabitants are given the chance to sustainably manage and protect their natural resources. 
The Nigerian-Cameroon chimpanzees inhabit the cross border region of these two countries. They are considered to be the most endangered of all the African chimpanzees, with less than 8000 individuals left in the wild. If nothing is done these primates will be extinct in 20 years. You can help to protect the chimpanzees and their habitat in the South West Province of Cameroon.
