We require an enthusiastic, reliable person to develop environmental science education programmes on long-term environmental monitoring within the fynbos ecosystem, aimed at educators teaching Natural Sciences or Geography to Grade 9 – 11 learners. The appointee will also be required to develop environmental outreach programmes for learners and to co-ordinate SAEON activities at national environmental and science events.

Carbon Policy Advisor will provide support to GHOA goals to implement a
programme to influence UNFCCC negotiations to incorporate issues such
as Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) into a
post 2012 climate change policy regime.
