The Science Coordinator occupies a senior position within Nature Seychelles. S/he is required to provide overall scientific and technical support to Nature Seychelles through a diverse and multi-tasking work programme.  This includes essential tasks ranging from strategic and scientific advice, coordinating field staff, implementing conservation projects ongoing terrestrial bird, seabird and, other wildlife monitoring, habitat restoration projects and other knowledge based programmes of the organization.  It must be noted that Nature Seychelles is operating in a changing environment and the Main Duties described below are liable to change over time as new opportunities and directions emerge.
