The Tanzania Forest Working Group (TFWG) is hosted by the Tanzania Natural Resource Forum (TNRF). The TFWG is seeking to employ a Communications and Campaign Manager to lead a new communications and advocacy campaign. The initiative will support forest-adjacent communities to become aware of the economic value of forest resources and to begin to seek and receive benefits arising from sustainable forest management. The initiative will also work to ensure that key forest governance issues are recognised and addressed through increased stakeholder awareness and the adoption of appropriate stakeholder actions focused on stopping the illegal timber trade and promoting best practices in forest management.
