African Conservation Forum Rules & Acceptable Use Policy

The African Conservation Forums have grown considerably over the past years and we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running well for the benefit of all, please follow these simple rules for the forums below. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact us.

General Use Policy

  • All information that you provide to us for your membership is correct.
  • No mass posting or flooding of the boards is allowed.
  • Commercial advertising, self-promotion and spamming is not allowed. This includes forum messages and private message systems to spam other members.
  • Explicit commercial advertising and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited.
  • Respectful discussion and constructive criticism are encouraged. We can not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
  • Avatars that may be confused with the ACF logo or official staff avatars are not allowed.
  • If you feel a post violates any of these rules and you need to bring it to the attention of a moderator, please use the ‘Report to moderator’ link to notify the moderators.
  • We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

Moderation

Although the administrators and moderators of the African Conservation Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the African Conservation Foundation nor individual moderators will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

The moderators of the African Conservation Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

We reserve the right to update and modify these rules as the needs of the African Conservation Community dictate to ensure the smooth operation of the forums.

Many thanks.
