Are you a vibrant, dynamic teacher looking for a new and interesting challenge? If so, we have an exciting post available in our Environmental Education Centre that would suit a qualified, experienced and self-motivated teacher. The successful candidate will be required to manage, promote and expand the Outreach Programme. Responsibilities will include driving a specially adapted vehicle that transports small live marine animals, presenting "hands-on" educational experiences to learners in disadvantaged communities and teaching at teacher workshops. Ideal candidates should be * qualified, experienced teachers with a proven record of innovative teaching * comfortable in addressing school groups at all levels as well as teachers in training, * enthusiastic and knowledgeable about environmental education * comfortable working in disadvantaged communities * in possession of a valid, unendorsed, driving licence An ability to teach in English, Afrikaans and Xhosa would be an advantage. Preference will also be given to candidates who will add to the diversity of our organization. - Limbe Wildlife Centre in SW Cameroon takes care of infant primates that are lucky enough to be rescued from the illegal pet trade. In November 2007, ACF, ERuDeF and Daniel Taylor organised an art workshop with 13 Cameroonian artists in the centre in order to raise awareness and funding for great apes conservation.
