Sanbona Wildlife Reserve: Wildlife coordinator required

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve requires the services of a young and energetic person to work in the offices of the Wildlife Department. The person must be fluent in Afrikaans and English as well as being computer literate. The successful candidate must be in the possession of a valid drivers license. People with a nature conservation diploma or relevant qualification will receive preference.

Duties of the successful candidate will include purchasing of stock, report writing, animal permit applications and other general office work. The person must also be willing to assist in field work when required.

  • Limbe Wildlife Centre in SW Cameroon takes care of infant primates that are lucky enough to be rescued from the illegal pet trade. In November 2007, ACF, ERuDeF and Daniel Taylor organised an art workshop with 13 Cameroonian artists in the centre in order to raise awareness and funding for great apes conservation.
