|
Following the record breaking satellite tagging expedition last month we invite you to come and take part in the first ever whale shark acoustic tagging expedition on Kenya’s beautiful south coast. We will be putting out acoustic receivers at various key points along Diani beach as well as tagging whale sharks in order to determine how faithful our whale shark population is to this area. You are welcome to join us on our daily whale shark expeditions. Watch the research team tag the world’s largest fish. Swim with whale sharks! Support our ground-breaking research and be a part of our team. You even can buy a tag and adopt a shark.
You can expect to see whale sharks and your boat will be guided to
the sharks by a spotter plane. Your whale shark safari will last around
4 hours leaving at 11am. Please bring your own refreshments!19 – 27 APRIL 2008 DIANI BEACH, KENYA
