The Environmental Protection & Conservation Organisation (EPCO) is a non Governmental Organization founded in Mauritius in 1987. The main objective of EPCO is to improve the conservation of biodiversity through educational, scientific, management and training programme.

Other objectives are:

  • To improve the quality of life of the local community through management of natural resources and conservation of their environment.
  • To ensure that the natural environment is used wisely and continues to be available for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations.
