Chimpanzee Conservation

Help local communities in Cameroon protect their chimpanzees. Only about 5000 Nigerian-Cameroon chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes vellerosus) are found in Cameroon and Nigeria, most of them in unprotected areas.

Cross River Gorilla Conservation

The Cross River gorilla is Africa’s most endangered African primate and one of the world’s 25 most endangered primate species.
There are currently just 250-300 individuals still present in the wild.

Conservation of Mau Forest Complex

Community Tree Nurseries

ACF provides support for reforestation efforts in Northern Tanzania through the establishment of tree nurseries. These tree nurseries provide remote rural villages with fruit tree saplings as well as indigenous trees for wood, medicines, fodder and reforestation activities.

Marine Turtle Conservation

Help conserve and recover populations of the Atlantic sea turtle species that nest on the beaches of South West Cameroon. This project is situated in the coastal areas of South West Cameroon, specifically in the Fako and Ndian Divisions.
