Chimpanzee Conservation
Help local communities in Cameroon protect their chimpanzees. Only about 5000 Nigerian-Cameroon chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes vellerosus) are found in Cameroon and Nigeria, most of them in unprotected areas.
Cross River Gorilla Conservation
The Cross River gorilla is Africa’s most endangered African primate and one of the world’s 25 most endangered primate species.
There are currently just 250-300 individuals still present in the wild.
Conservation of Mau Forest Complex
Protecting and restoring the highland forests of the Mau Forest Complex will not only save the biodiversity of these unique highlands, it will also protect and promote water supplies for the surrounding arid lowland areas, including Nakuru and Masai Mara.
EcoKids - Kenya
EcoKids helps to establish and support environmental clubs in primary schools in Nakuru and Mau Forest Complex. Currently the project assists the schools with setting up nurseries for indigenous tree species and organising training for the teachers.
