The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) is an initiative designed to support developing countries to tackle the challenges posed by climate change. We operate at the interface of climate and development, and science and policy-making to support climate compatible development. Our interventions provide three types of services to support policy processes: demand-led research, applied technical assistance and knowledge products. Our African programme is hosted by SouthSouthNorth, based in Cape Town, South Africa.

The FC will have responsibility for all aspects of the project's accounting, cash flow management, reporting, auditing, payroll, and donor relations (the European Union in particular). The candidate must be a qualified accountant with at least 5 years of experience in a hands-on accounting role. The Financial Controller will report into the Park Manager and will have one accounts assistant and the park and one in the Ndjamena office. The annual budget for Zakouma is approximately $1.8 million.
